This programme uses the objectives established in the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). TIS offers an individual academic programme that is differentiated according to the needs of your child, from beginners to native-language speakers.
The Wednesday programme accepts children from the age of 5-11 (Grande Section/ Year 1 till Year 6/grade 5) from 09h00 till 12h00 and for Middle schoolers 14h00 till 17h00. High schoolers and adults have their lessons in the evening between 18h30 and 20h30.
Qualified mother-tongue teachers working with published schemes of work will deliver lessons at the level of English competence of your child since classes are streamed following assessment and according to ability. At the end of the year, the children will be registered for the Cambridge exams according to their age, ability and their progress (e.g. level A1 to B2), followed by certification.
Our school is happy to announce that your children will have the possibility to sit their exams in our school which is becoming an Exam Preparation Center for Cambridge exams.
Enrolment in the Wednesday Programme is on a first-come-first-serve basis with current TIS children given priority. Places are strictly limited to 12 students per class.
